Nice set Simon.

From watching it on the TV the general public viewing areas didn't look good for photos due to the amount of crash fencing (track seems very enclosed due to its temporary nature ).

George

Nice variation, like the guys face and composition in 1 and the flame in 6. well caught.

As you've commented in the other thread re sharpness I feel 7 & 5 although well timed would be better if they were a tad sharper. Looking at 7 again its not too bad, probably the background is more distracting (could be the backgrounds are too sharp for these 2 so the perception of sharpness on the object is not there if that makes sense). I would try lifting the shadows in 4 to lighten the car a bit as it looks a bit too dark on my monitor.

Thanks for posting.

George

Not really other than liking the shots, here's some more pics to prove it along with a couple of cars.

Another fine set Simon, love the large sweeping feel to to No 8. No 5 certainly made me smile.

The Tamron looks sharp, are you missing the Sigma 100-300 (has it gone for repair?)

Thanks for your comments.

simonarron" I've taken shots from the same angle as number 14, but usually the background is but an empty meadow. The packed car park makes the whole thing much more dynamic.[/quote]

Interestingly at the time I was thinking this would look better without the cars in the background !

I saw the Thruxton races on the telly and was impressed, quite pleased to see her in the paddock and it looks like she has the potential to go far.

Some nice shots there Pete,

Like 16, did well to catch them side by side, good spot with the lines on 19. Along with No 3 these are my favourites. In 2 I would crop the top of the post out in the bottom of the frame. Good to see the Q7 in action, what lens did you use ?

Interestingly I got a far better keeper rate from Druids as I found it easier to pan with less people getting in the way. (I still delete a lot though !)
