Any Q10 owners out there who can offer opinion on if Q10 is a reliable quality investment for a handy travel camera?

The original Q certainly is so I can't imagine the Q10 being any different

As Ken says. It's am amazing little camera that does actually offer something different - true compact portability and high image quality.

Bought my own Q10 a few weeks back on ebay uk, very happy with it, I didn´t realize it was so small...
Now it is my constant companion when out cycling, so small and light, very reasonable results as well.

Just need a 15-45mm lens now, but the new price is very off putting at around 200 GBP, and the imports from Japan seem cheap but here in Germany every package from Japan gets nabbed by customs and you have 20% duty plus an admin charge on top of the invoice price you pay including the postage charges, so end sup around the same price.

200 sounds quite reasonable for that little zoom.... They're very nicely made I believe. I guess there's not many used options out there yet... ?

I've been using my Q and Q10 out here in Tanzania for 18 months now, most people can't tell the difference between the pictures from the Q's and my K5. Very little difference between the Q and Q10 image wise.
The Original Q is metal whereas the Q10 is plastic but it doesn;t feel plasticy at all. I've been pleasantly surprised by both.
By the way......I recently picked up a new 15-45mm for 89 pounds from Ebay (SRS)! I hope to try it out next week when I return to UK
I love my Q's, never go out without one of them
