Adobe photoshop fix on the iPad is an amazing app and worth the £10 a month on its own if you do any kind of portrait work.

For me it's a no brainer having paid vast sums for photoshop over the years I had to save a sum regularly ready for the next upgrade so the only difference is I am actually paying less a month than I had to save. As for buying the actual software that's fine until you change camera body and find your new body is not supported by your old software.

The only downside for me is as Lightroom gets more and more features I rarely use photoshop apart from content aware but it's still a great package.

Maybe the fees for a space at these events cannot be justified. To be fair I have never heard of castle camera event.

The 24" ultra sharp is a beautiful monitor

IPS is always a requisite of any screen I use. Depending on your budget I don't think you can do worse than the dell ultra sharp range. I have a 5k Mac and the screen space is fab for Lightroom being able to see a large resolution image in your workspace does make a huge difference so I would definitely look st 4K models too.

Also if you can rotate your acre monitor by 90degrees that also helps for lightrooms second screen particularly when working in portrait images
