I now have two lenses I wish to dispose of as I have upgraded now.

SMC Pentax-FA 1:4.5-5.6 100-300mm in very good condition, not used an awful lot. I think I still have the pouch and box for it. Complete with Bell & Howell UV filter. With original end caps. This is the power/manual zoom lens.

Tamron AF Aspherical LD (IF) 28-200mm 1:3.8-5.6 with original end caps and lens hood. I have no box for this lens. Again in very good condition, probably used more than the Pentax lens but still not a huge amount.

I have ideas of what these lenses are currently going for on places like ebay etc. So make me an offer for either if interested. P&P will be negotiable depending on offer. UK sale would be by bank transfer, if an EU resident wants them then Paypal is OK but buyer pays fees and P&P to EU will be at cost unless a very good offer is made.

I am looking to sell my *istD which is in full working order together with the original kit lens I got with it. The lens says Pentax FAJ 1:4(22)-5.6(32) 18-35mm -AL- on the front. I also have the D-BG1 battery grip. I have the original boxes for the camera and grip but right now cannot find the lens box. The only thing missing is the rubber eye cup on the camera, cables manual and software CD are available also have a 4gb compact flash card to include.

I have seen body + grip go on ebay for about £80 and a body plus lens go for a similar amount. So I guess body+grip+lens would make a few pounds more. I have not checked on P&P costs yet but would probably be around £10 to UK destinations insured and tracked.

I also have an AF330FTZ flashgun in working order in original box, not sure how much to say for this, but would sell separately if anyone is interested.

I am not interested in selling these items outside of the UK.

I think we need to remember that the judging was done by 'Joe Public' and not enthusiasts or experienced judges. So this was a popularity contest rather than a photographic one. For me it does not matter and I don't judge the winner, in fact I'd be very very happy to have captured that picture half as well.

I recently got my MZ3 out of the cupboard as I found I still had a roll of film, the camera has not been used for maybe 10 years so I guess I'm asking a lot of it.

However before putting it in I decided to see if the camera seemed to operate OK. Sadly it does not. The film wind on works OK when you open and shut the back, AF works and bleeps OK but when I press the shutter all I hear is a kind of wine noise for a second or two and the mirror does not go up and the shutter does not fire.

I guess I'm really asking if this is likely to be expensive, even if you can still get Pentax or others to repair them now. Anyone any ideas?
