the prize (1000) seemed a bit stingey given they made over 1.3m from the calendar last year - or is it just me ?

Well I believe all the profit goes to Children In Need appeal so maybe not.

The prize is reasonable as the calendar is for charity, and if Bill uses the 1000 for Pentax, he'll be getting a lot more value for his money.

The picture was a gem, something i would have been proud to have taken, congrats to Bill Robinson ( who ever he is) and nice to see a Pentax in the forefront, anybody have any idea what lens he was using?

It's a Kr, you can tell by the prism.
