No major wear / tear; minimal scratch on the LCD protector (see no point in removing it, it's not an issue). Minor wear on the hotshoe.

Charger is there, not sure about the mains cable.
Batteries hold charge fine for around 1500 shots.

Only the Pro supports RAW if I've read it right. And yes, you pay a penalty for convenience.
The WiFi would be slow if it's got a weak connection, the memory card will be as fast as an Ultra II (i.e. 5 RAW shots in burst mode from a K10). A U II is Class 4.

errr... think about it. How fast does it have to be?

If we are talking .jpgs (2MB / each) from a K10D:

3shots / sec --> 6MB / sec
802.11g --> 54Mbps --> 7MB / sec

Where's the issue?

The pro is class 6, which is around the same as an extreme III, I believe.

Your wire will be slower in most cases, especially if you're using a micromate reader. The only one I've see to give over 20MB/s is the Extreme III reader.

I'd also consider pushing the luminosity curve to the left at the bottom to bring out more detail on the head - the eye is nearly lost.

TBH, I'd really, really think about getting a big disk and then copying all of the files into a directory or three. Then, working with dates and times (creation), you should be able to sort them.

Which operating system? How detailed instructions do you need?

Try reflecting the flash off coloured paper or (matt)plastics, you don't *need* gels.

Set the flash to around 1/8 or lower, depending on bounce distance. Anything decent - like Sigma 500 Super, Vivitar 285, Lumopro LP120, AF360 should be able (in manual mode) to drop that low.

Try also using a bigger glass (vase, maybe?) to drop the shadow and also maybe a white background....

I'm originally from the UK but haven't lived there for nigh on 16 years. I live and work in Finland with my family; my trusty K10D is hopefully being replaced shortly by a K7.
