Auto focus doesn't bother me too much as I shouldn't be in too much of a rush when I'm at that zoom. So manual may be ok.

Is it possible to Auto focus then correct manually?

In the end with me it came down to a choice between the D90 because of video or the K20D because of the weatherproofing.
