What a brilliant capture !

Those colours and light are just amazing, Bjørn - Nos. 2 and 5 are stunning.

Thanks gwing.
I love the bokeh on the prickly thing by Jeffstclair !

I never know how the bokeh will turn out until I see it on the screen.
By the way, does anyone else keep typing "bokey" instead of "bokeh" ???

I particularly like #2 - the angle of the shot and the light from the sun.

I agree with Horst - the tree frames the shot.
Stunning long view giving a real feeling of endless bush - bet it's nice and quiet !

Incredible shots and such wonderful colours. Nice capture of the swan !

Thank you, David.
I have to confess to only noticing the reflection after downloading onto my computer !!! I was more concerned with keeping up with the subject. Very little PP apart from some level adjustment and cropping in iPhoto.

I was on Tv, continuous mode and automatic ISO, as recommended for action shots by the journo. The light was very difficult as it kept changing from dull to bright sun. I don't think the focus was switched to continuous - but I was on autofocus and it seemed to work pretty well. If I wasn't properly focussed for the first of a run, then they were all fit for the bin !

Perhaps I should have added that I was using the Kx with the ever-faithful DA 55-300.

Thank you, Vic
It's certainly the season for these events here in our area of France. Fortunately it's easy to get permission to be on the course.

Bravo, Gábor - you must be really pleased. The shots are superb.
