Barren, desolate but somewhat inviting. In two minds about the tree/bush on the left but it was there before you so it has rights....

A good wide scene.

Best regards from Perth (sipping Little Creatures "Shepherds Delight" IPA).
Too far from a shore.

Just seen the Microsoft demo of "ice", what a fantastic piece of kit!

Well put together.
A very interesting place. Great for camping. Also the campfire couldn't burn the place down.
I am sure you could find some gemstones there.

Regards Horst from Melbourne. (sipping a Single Malt, because its so cold here at the moment)

The tree on left is too intruding for me, I would clone it out. It does remind me of a shot from one of the Mars rovers, of cours without the greenery.

Except those shots appear to have been stitched by throwing the prints onto a desk and photographing them again
Lovely shot Don. Photoshop CS6 'content-aware fill' will make a fab job of the tree, which I personally would remove or show more of (if poss).

I think the tree is great , but could you show the trunk too, this would frame the picture.

I agree with Horst - the tree frames the shot.
Stunning long view giving a real feeling of endless bush - bet it's nice and quiet !

It has the potential to frame the picture, but there's not enough of it and it makes an otherwise nicely balanced picture, unbalanced. If it was my picture I would clone it out rather than cropping because I like the crop as it is.
If the shot had been taken from a slightly different angle it could have looked identical but without the tree, so I would have no ethical problem with replacing it with a bit more sky

Nice Shot Don

It's relatively flat, very dry and dusty looking with blue skies - no one will mistake it for Wales then
K10D, K5 plus plenty of clueless enthusiasm.

Be fair, what has the tree done to upset you. Let it live!
