hi, recently took delivery of my pentax 100mm macro lens, ive become hooked on insects.
can anyone recommend a decent 49mm macro ring flash....something not too expensive (max £100)

hi, very much appreciate your comments, been a huge help.
I think ive sussed it, by pressing the button halfway on the trigmaster ii doent actually do the focusing, its the camera that keeps focusing automatically. tried it in the garden and I could hear the focusing motor as I moved nearer and away from the camera and I came out in focus every time so happy days

hi all
can anyone recommend wireless remote triggers for the K3 with AF?
I already have the aputure trigmaster ii which does the job but doesn't perform the AF function..(or at least it doen't for me).
the AF would allow me to take selfies in focus rather than guesswork

just upgraded to a pentax K3 from a Kr
must say, what a camera it is....very delighted is an understatement.
I am getting ready for an adventure on the weekend and would really appreciate your help.
I have the aputure trigmaster ii transmitter and receiver to use with wireless flash and shutter release.
the problem I have is it works fine with the flash (transmitter on hot shoe) but when I try to put the receiver on the hot shoe for wireless shutter release it doesn't work. I connected the lead to the mic? I think this maybe wrong. the lights on the units are corresponding so they are paired up.
any ideas please?
need to get this sorted to take selfies!
