Your portfolio is complete and very beautiful. I like your portraits and flowers. You bear a special feeling inside. Only women have this SHINING! I don't know if this term is correct....but I believe that it can describe what I mean.

You have the spirit in you to go and try all types of work. And achieve fantastic results whatever the subject. Very diverse portfolio. Black and white or colour, landscape, portrait (people and animals), nature, and the odd quirky take are all equally stunning. My top five? Difficult amongst so many little treasures, but here goes:

Below the hill again: Bleak November: A chill in the air: Cold 2: Whoosh.

These are just the type of photographs I love. Mysterious, black and white or black and white-ish and perfect in every sense within the frame. Splendid portfolio.

I've just realised, prompted by Maria leaving a comment on my portfolio, that I have been very remiss in not making my views known on here. I've left many comments on your individual images Maria, but I have to say that your portfolio as a whole is nothing short of brilliant, especially so considering it is mostly shot in or very close to your home. Quite staggering stuff and I'm amazed that someone has not approached you to licence or buy your images for commercial use (please correct me if I'm wrong)!

I cannot even begin to try choosing a favourite, there are so many superb shots in here, all with your unique delicacy of touch in the processing.

Best wishes

Maria - Everyone seems to have complimented your work with so many positives that when trying to come up with something meaningful, I thought POSITIVE. You express yourself without portraying angst, pain or loneliness. Gallery users, esp. whenever they shoot in black and white have so many pent up negative emotions that I wonder if beauty is their goal. You do beautiful images by very positively being beautiful. -- Tony
