After work Beach Walk

Posted 22/01/2018 - 22:01 Link
Finally a dry day and an early finish giving me a chance to look at a local spot and try and find an interesting image. After a long string of excuses not to pick up the camera, I made an effort to keep it close to hand today hoping for a colourful sky at sunset. Once the sun went down it was obvious that the sky was not going to help me out but I managed a good shot out of a few rushed images avoiding the rising tide and unpredictable waves. The only negatives were wet feet and losing my lens cap to the sea gods.

I'd gladly lose a lens cap and put up with wet feet for these.
Really nice set.
Last one for me. Sweet shot.
I know what i like, If not always why.

Interesting rock formation in no2. I like the low sun and lines/ curves in no1. But overall I think no3 is my favourite

3 is rather a nice one and I especially like the tiny sun perfectly sandwiched on the horizon.

Thank you everybody, what a great surprise to get home and find so many kind comments. I think the hardest thing is to share your images with others not knowing if they will be liked.

Thanks for taking the time to look and comment,

Tony

What a fantastic set - I think that the exposure setting that you chose for #1 was inspired. You should be really proud of these.

Very hard to choose a favorite and I suspect that on one day I would pick one and on a different day another.
They all have something special about them, but for me # 1 just about shades it.

Lovely set. If they were mine I'd think it a very successful trip out. Favourites, 1 and 4 for me but all lovely.
