Jason stands to be corrected, but feels confident.

I prefer the no1. Even before I had opened the tread, just from the title I knew this was going to be a 77mm thing. I borrowed one once, never had results like it, before or since. Pentax know more about producing quality optics than I know about sharpening, so I leave it to them.

Have tried the colour punch this afternoon and the B+W option.
Top marks.
I like that you have explained what the program is doing.
When fiddling about generally I have got the colour etc what I want for the subject but usually upset something else. This has sorted it.

on the colour punch tutorial should there be images all the way down left side like eyes tutorial?
at least when I look the text and screen grabs are there along with spaces for images but no images.

Use what works best for the situation. I find it a liberating experience to be out in the field (street) and rely upon ones own wits. It is surprising how easy you can tune in to a set of lighting conditions.
If you are shooting digital what the hell it does not matter. if you are shooting film it focuses the mind somewhat more. Shoot some b+w even if you only process the negs you will know how you have done.
As for what is the correct exposure. Who knows. You are in charge, the exposure is what you like not what others like.
Just had a day trip to London. Shot sunny 16 with an M3 (no meter) and well chuffed with results.
Having said all that, when shooting running events i am more than happy to put the ist into Tv mode 1/500 and let the meter do its thing.
