I've already tried it and it really feels better but was surprised that I couldnt found a single post here or on the other pentaxforum.
This month might be the only month soon I can miss my camera. I need it back before 3 december because we are going on vacation so 5 weeks is too long.

My name is Stefan, student in the first year of the study aeronautical engineer and proud Pentax owner since end December last year. Bought it because I was having a lot of fun making photos with a simple P&S cam but wanted more control. Had that thought a long time ago and have looked around for the best DSLR I could find, that was the *ist DS 4 years ago. Too bad I didn’t had the money for it so ended up with using the P&S for awhile. After Christmas I bought for myself the K10D finally and never regret it a moment.
The funny thing is I just know that my uncle has Pentax slr for ages, I knew he had one but didn’t knew the brand . So have used some of his lenses now.
The first lens I bought beside the kit lens was the DA 18-250 to replace the kit and have the extra reach. A half year or so ago I bought my first prime the D-FA 100 and just couldn’t believe how sharp that thing was so I’ve decided to get only primes from now on. Just bought the DA 40 ltd this month to shoot indoors and I’m loving it. Wanted to buy the DA* 55 also when it comes out but have been scared away of the prices I hear. It’s probable worth it though but still it’s a lot of money and the DA* 200 & 300 are tempting too.
I hope my story wasn’t boring
btw since I’m new here I hardly know you, so why don’t you introduce yourself also. It's a bit unfair that only the newbies need to introduce themself

Do you mean the battery grip or on the actual camera?
Welcome to the forum btw. Maybe you'd like to introduce yourself in the Just joined section?
It seems that new members are a shy lot.
Can't answer your question, but Welcome to the forum.
Give him some time Gwyn, you know a Dutchman can't stay shy forever.
Good to have an other Dutchy around here.
Martin.
I saw that there was a new forum section for that but just didn't want to be the first one But will post an introduction there after this

It looks like... like they used two halves of those soft banana candies and putt them where your middle finger and your ring finger is, the rest of the grip stays the same. it really does give you a more secure grip and I had the feeling I could keep the camera better still.
Asked the chap who was helping me about it and he said they could do it now for €50,- but of course I hadn’t had the camera with me . He sends me to another desk where they could tell me more about it.
They could do it for the K10D and the K20D (sorry didn’t asked for the rest) it cost liked I said €50,- and you can simply have it sent to Pentax for it.
So I asked my photo shop here about it and they called Pentax for it. I was already looking forward to it but they said it could take 5 weeks before I got my camera back... I can't miss it that long.
I’ve looked around everywhere on the web if I could find a photo or anything but couldn’t find a thing...
So is anyone interested to have theirs sent to Pentax and do some of you have experience on how long it might take. 5 weeks seems awfully long for something they could do their on the spot .

Pentax France had to do a little search as they were not aware of such an option, and returned to me some days latter with a 75€ quote...
Inverted $/€ parity in France starts to get on my nerves... And it's now even applied on €/€ conversions...
