It's a newly designed viewfinder, it would make a posible to have a smaller viewfinder system for a medium format camera. Maybe they can bring the size and weight so much down it can compete with a fullframe camera. Let's hope they will come with one soon, I'm not waiting to have a fullframe with my DA lenses but this might be interesting for a nice price

I do think Pentax need to define theirself a bit more. Tere philosophy is different then that of Nikon or Canon and doesn't do well for sport photography for that reason. Why don't they present theirself as the pefect portrait camera with their lovely lenses for it and the upcoming DA* 55/1.4. If they spend some more time to have a solid studio flash system they might be able to have a good foothold in that market or am I dreaming to much now?
They would also do great for ameteur outdoor/wildlife photography with their weather sealed system, the DA* 60-250/4 and DA* 300/4 are perfect for that.
All we need now is a DA* 250-600/5.6, DA* 400/5.6 & DA* 600/4 to complete it
How great do you think the changes are that those lenses will see the light?

I would go for Nikon as well, probable the D300. That looks like a nice camera but there won't come any Canon in my hands.

The DA 21mm limited is the only limited wider then your 31 Mac, so you don't have much choice I'm afraid.

The DA limiteds seems to be sharper across the image though, the FA's can be softer at the corners.
I know that the DA 70 and FA 77 produce different kind of photos. Almost everyone like the FA 77 more because of the way it renders the image, they just have a bit of extra "flair" so to say . Don't know if that's true for the rest of the Limiteds.

I really want to FA 77 but I also really really want the DA* 55... if they would just give away the lenses it would be a lot easier

Hi Hedge, glad you post something. I also lurked quite a while before my first post. Hopefully you will compete in the competition this week

Well I've tried it... I'm just missing things.
Now I use Lightroom 2 and Photoshop cs3 and it's just an good combination that Silkypix can't replace or at something to it, so I'm sorry but I will stick with Adobe.

Really thanks for the suggestion it's a great program for that price so I would recomend it to everyone that are searching for such programs from now on

For me too, I like the dust in the second photo only the colour put me a bit off. Really excellent photos though
