Don't know of anyone who is truly pleased with the results.
That with the fact, like John pointed out, extra use results in extra wear. Without any substantial benefit, I'd suggest turning the feature off.
The dust removal system can shake loose a certain small amount of loose dust, but much better and consistent results are obtained simply from using a RocketBlower or similar item to blow the dust free. (almost a year and have not had to use wet or other method to physically touch the sensor area... air alone has been enough)

Photoshop used to save JPEG in quality varying from 1-10. I noticed Photoshop now saves up to quality 12. If you chose 12, it probably has less compression than what the camera uses and results in larger images.

.... (at least I hope all those teeth showing means a smile... )
Luckily the only one's that need to worry about that from these big lugs are the neighborhood squirrels.

Those poor dogs!, they must be traumatised beyond belief!! how can any self-respecting Rotty hold it's head up in public after being seen wearing silly hats.
I'm reporting you to the RSPCA!
It is difficult to walk down the street when all the other dogs are laughing at you.
Although, I have to admit those are not the most embarrassing outfits they have been made to suffer in the name of "photography". But being the most lovable and warm hearted dog on earth (when raised properly!), they put up with the trauma with a constant smile. (at least I hope all those teeth showing means a smile... )

Either way... whatever it takes to keep things interesting and fun.

Do a search for "Ming Thein". The guy has some great work. Most done with flash. Some example setups were shown so this might help.
The guy apparently has some more elaborate setups for some photos... more so han I would expect would be necessary. But I guess they are not easy objects to get to look "good".

My favorite place is home with family and with my dogs.

I know, wrong holiday, but schedules aren't going to allow me to take a new photo for this competition, so I dug up one of last year's X-Mas photos.

Very cool, but does it support half-press for auto focus?
