Strange car the queen was in, the wide door pillar stopped the camera getting a decent view of her until it was in line with the side window? I can't see it being a security measure, because a gunman could still shoot at the side window? It would have also obscured her view out of the car?
Can be seen at 1' 12" in this video : 'Highlights of the Royal Wedding'

This leads on to the next point - do you hold a vendor responsible for their delivery company. After all, they are the prime contractor.
Yes, covered on OFT site.

Ring the Palace and complain how dare they interrupt the delivery of your lens by holding a Royal Wedding

Hi Don, why don't you use an aluminium covered bubble wrap type of material instead of messing about with all that fibreglass? DIY version link
4mm = 55mm polystyrene.

The quilt version is amazing!

Nice shots, wouldn't have realized they were taken through mesh.
The colours of the last bird (posted by Oggy) are like an
artists palette

Plastic cards are OK until you lose one or the machine decides not to give it back because it's made a mistake with the PIN then you not only can't get at YOUR MONEY due to the ever increasingly complicated "prove who you are requirement" but will have to wait about 7 days for a new card and probably have to go to the bank with at least 3 proofs of identity

I heard of someone who was recently asked for a "Certified Birth Certificate" I suppose that means that someone in authority has to sign that they were the baby named on the "Birth Certificate"
Life just keeps getting more complicated

It can come on Saturday especially if there's been a bank holiday.

I've used Vivitar lenses that have the PIN without and problems. It's usually rounded on the end and shouldn't get stuck. They were after all made to fit Pentax and Ricoh.

Your Rikenon f/2 is probably better than the Pentax f/2. I've always found Ricoh 50mm lenses to perform the same whether f/1.4, f/1.7 or f/2

Pentax spectacle lenses in the UK are now licensed to Specsavers if I remember correctly. They aren't made by Pentax they just use the name. There was a tie up between Pentax and Zeiss until recently.

Hoya's main spectacle brand is now Seiko.
