Do any other lenses have the Ricoh-P problem?

Have had fun with that though

You can always remove it !? as most do

Your Rikenon f/2 is probably better than the Pentax f/2. I've always found Ricoh 50mm lenses to perform the same whether f/1.4, f/1.7 or f/2

It's usually rounded on the end and shouldn't get stuck.
Exactly, they are now ! but not always !!

I've used Vivitar lenses that have the PIN without and problems. It's usually rounded on the end and shouldn't get stuck. They were after all made to fit Pentax and Ricoh.

As far as I understand it would not have been a problem when the lenses were made. It became a problem when Pentax introduced auto focus and modified the K mount to suit.

Can someone confirm that it is those lenses with a pin on the mount that are the problem ones (my Rikenon 50mm f2 is fine, probably M series equivalent).
I am looking at A series equivalent lenses and want to avoid other makes/series that get stuck?
Sorry to labour this but I went from M-series equivalent film lenses to DA lenses so I lack knowledge of what came between.
