I've also got a Sigma 135-400mm, it's quite good indecent light and stopped down to around f/8 on a K20D, I haven't tried it on the K-5 yet. It should be a lot easier to stick to f/8 with the better high ISO performance.

You can now buy Daylight cold cathode full spectrum (or similar) lights that don't get HOT! OK and often preferred for still life's but for portraits flash is better.

10 years ago there used to be a program that you could download from Steve's Digicams that measured shutterlag. Basically a timer that counted down 5 4 3 2 1 and you took the photo on 1 and a bar started to be drawn on the screen with x.x seconds elapsed displayed. You could then read the shutter lag off the camera LCD.

I think 'writting off' a company because one new product is incompatible with the pentax system is a little harsh... They have a good deal of products that do work very well...

The RF-602's are widely used by pentax shooters with little complaint and their manual flashes (460-II's and 560's in particular) are becoming incredibly well used accross the board, whichever brand or system you buy into...
And what will someone with say 12 RF-602's do when say 3 of them conk out and Yongnuo have nothing to replace them with

The only solution is buy 12 of another make.... Ouch!!!

I'd say flare

The wasp is actually planing off decayed wood to build a
paper nest Very often around Yale locks on front doors
it looks like the keys have worn some wood away, but it's
usually wasps

This one's dead easy The sky's more or less the same colour on the right so just sample the blue above the white cloud and paint brush in the right corner until it looks right

Seems that the forum software just uses the 1st letter and the dash (-) and number at the end, ignoring the rest of the title.

I think you've got something filtering out URL's with possibly the word "advertising" at your end

Try this one.... you should get the Pentax User Error page
