There are exceptions to the rule, the SDM motors in the DA*300 don't seem prone to fail, I'm not sure why this would be the case.

I'm not an engineer but could it be to do with the DA*300 being a fixed focal length rather than a zoom? I should imagine the motor would be put under more strain
on a zoom lens.

Fantastic images...all really good, great colours and detail and superb compositions...some of the best shots i've seen of Anglesey.

Concrete...probably the most useful building material ever developed but surely the most ugly and unattractive.

Full marks for your dedication Bill but being totally honest I find the images depressing to look at!

Excellent stuff and as others have said enhanced by the commentary.

Nice to see shots from a very unusual location...one would have thought that by now it was pretty hard to find anywhere in Europe that hadn't been well covered...
these are new to me though.

Hi Chris,

Looking at the T&Cs, I see no restrictions on PP such as cloning out unwanted items etc.

Are there explicit or implicit rules on this?

davek
I notice that each individual image JPEG can't be more than 2.5Mb so i suppose this restriction in itself may well limit the amount of PP that can be carried out. Using a K-50 my typical image sizes at full JPEG quality are between 6 - 7Mb, even basic PP like altering the contrast/brightness increases this figure.

I have to say it's an imaginative use of the Pentax advertising/marketing budget...probably quite cost effective too when you consider how little exposure about £1000 would buy using traditional ad media.

That's very impressive...so sharp and detailed for a handheld shot.
