Will affect us all...consumers and retailers by the sound of it...Link HERE on Photorumors.

I'm sure will generate a fair bit of online chat.

Thanks to both of you...a particularly detailed and interesting comment from Steve.

Glad I noticed it because 5-10 minutes later it wasn't recognisable as such.

Often pays to 'Look Up'.

A handful of images of a strange pattern in the sky yesterday over mid Cheshire looking west.

Looked like scar tissue across the sky.

A very nice set as already mentioned...quite varied too.

Definitely No.5 for me the standout...and I quite like the first one as well.

cheers

Pentax 70-200 f/2.8AW for £1367 if you are quick. (at 11.15 am)

Would rather see excess stock sold via Pentax dealership than offloaded via Amazon but this price is a bargain for someone.

Nice trio. They suit the mono treatment.

Particularly like No.1 with No.3 a close second.

Definitely the kind of shots I like taking myself.

I do prefer this set Karlo, particularly no.3 - I could see this printed large and hanging in a company lobby or somewhere similar. Experimentation and pushing ourselves is always good to do - keep at it
Thanks LennyBloke...have to say it is my favourite of the set as well...purely for its more abstract nature and colouring.

No. 2 works very well for me.
Thanks Peter...No.2 is my second favourite one. Always nice to get other opinions.

I'm also a No.2 - soft and painterly
Thanks also Gareth...do like the word "painterly". Given that I don't seem to have any ability with an artist's brush, digital photography is my best bet for creating something close to a painting in finish!

Thought i'd try a new location for a bit more experimentation with ICM...Neumann's Flash and Ashton Flash literally just 1/2 a mile from the centre of Northwich...reclaimed land...now a nature reserve with lots of Silver Birch.

Small aperture, longer exposures...definitely the way to go for me with these. Last one was a bit of a different outcome...not quite as happy with that but a bit harder as no strong verticals to get lined up with.

K-5IIs with SMC A 35-105 f/3.5.

I do like the abstract nature of the second and third photographs. I achieved this once by sneezing at the point of pressing the shutter release! The notes on your approach Karlo will help me to have a go and experiment a bit more.
Thanks Nigel...pleased you liked a couple of them.

Well worth a play around with next time you are out somewhere suitable.
