What an impressive building...you've captured images of it i've not seen before and a nice variety too.

Just one little thing i've noticed...it might be me, but do a lot of the verticals tilt slightly to the right?

Thanks for showing these though...not somewhere that we see often on this site.

Regards

Karlo

It's great when 'luck' and 'being in the right place' come together isn't it? Lovely images. So many memories. I would imagine I'm not alone in smiling when looking at these.
My pleasure sharing these...-pleased you all enjoyed them.

A 'shout-out' to the 50-135 as well for rendering the colours so accurately and even the AF just about coped!

Yes ...noticed that too...made me laugh!

Glad to have brought back some memories from the deepest depths of the 'grey stuff'

Weather was very co-operative as you mention.

Thanks for your comments David.

Was down on the A556 for an hour to take some pictures of passing bikes and cars that appealed.

By a fluke I managed to be in the 'right place at the right time' to catch these lovely vintage cars passing by at probably no more than about 40mph or so...some definitely slower than that!

Some of the cars are 'known' but many i don't recognise so haven't risked labelling the images.

They were travelling on the eastbound carriageway from Chester direction towards Manchester...no idea where they were headed.

Click on an image to view at full 1000 pix size.

Hope you enjoy the images.

Coloured version is superb...far more to my liking than the mono in my opinion...flowers are colourful for a reason!

That combination of body and lens look ideal for close up flower photography.

Fabulous Spad.

The lower red half has a biblical vibe about it as portrayed by some of the 'Old Masters'.
A more current interpretation...it reminds me of images of 'open heart surgery'.

Keep in touch.
