Well I won't be coming, and won't turn up. Too much else going on to make it I'm afraid.
Missed the equivalent event here last weekend due to new computers, family and other annoying stuff.
Anyway I look forward to the photos of Goths and fireworks from this autumn's Whitby do.

I'd love to come, but I can't miss taking the kids to see the fireworks on bonfire night, so won't be able to make it.
I want to see plenty of decent photos.

Getting there! Thanks to you guys

My B&B (in Scarborough) has been booked for several weeks now
All that have been have said time and again how good the event is for portraits, I probably more than most, this one from last October link has done really well for me in competitions and its also in my PPG, Yesterday I helped put up my camera clubs annual exhibition and discovered that "Danni" had been awarded not only first place in Portraits but also best print in the exhibition
Ted, we'll take some for you

I wish. However, it's a little too far to travel. It will be a good event and is probably one of the best "free" photoshoots in the UK.
Best regards

Hmmm will have to try and make this one. Have relatives that live in Glaisdale, just on the outskirts of Whitby so would have somewhere to stay.

It's all talk of lost weight and having to have outfits taken in. So the tension is building.

I'm in a B&B. But I'll happily be hobbit-esque and do second breakfast!

This is usually the point where half the people say they are not coming (but then turn up) and the other half say they are coming (and don't turn up)!
So the main day is Novermebr 5th, and by sheer fortune I was able to bag a cheap B&B for the night before so I'll be in town if anyone else arrives early.
Ususal itenary is breakfast, photos, coffee, photos, beer, photos, fish & chips, photos, home. With the odd oggle thrown in for good measure!
If you haven't been before then come! It is the best time to photograph lots of willing models for free. If you need to travel you'll get a cheap room in Scarborough the night before/after which is a bus ride or short car journey away.
And if there are no Goths then Barry's family are always happy to pose.
