There are many different kinds of bridges, so this is an interesting subject. There are man made bridges but also the bridges made by different people reaching out to one another.

I wonder how much lateral thinking will appear in this one.

Well......this:
Quote:
A Bridge (or Bridges)
Being a man made or natural structure conecting two (or more) points of raised elevation.

Doesn't leave room for any lateral thinking I should presume.
Unless i am reading the judges description wrong here.

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

Yes, I saw that, but if we stray then we take a chance on what the judge will do. I think you're telling me it's got to be a physical bridge!
Best regards, John

Yes, thats how I read it. If thats not the case, some extra info would be advisable I'll guess.

Well I've settled for an image of a real bridge, but with at least some lateral thinking.

Always push the boundaries!

Why do people keep picking subjects I've already set in previous comps?

To me, this is just another 'Self Portrait' theme.

Dan
K-3, a macro lens and a DA*300mm...

You've got me there - how is "Bridge(s)" the same as "Self Portrait", or am I being a bit dim because it's too early?
Best regards, John

It's only a self-portrait for Dan Bridge.

Thank heavens we got a definition to go with the topic.

The bridge of Daniel's nose would be a good choice.
