Every time I read someone else's list I find another one. "39 Steps" Robert Donat original version. I like the funny way they run across the Highlands. And I fancy Madeleine Carroll.

Episode 1 of the Edge of Darkness WAS brilliant - more moody than the Mel Gibson and far better based in UK.Some very touching scenes too - roll on part 2 tonight.
