The US Forum have banned the posting of FF rumours in the
rumours forum Is it any wonder

The boss has even posted a thread.....

Well that's good old US OF A for you, the home of freedom, unless they don't like what you have to say that is.

This is the United Kingdom, a bit like the US, except for the orange boiler suits

I won't make any remarks about "USA freedom" as Politicis isn't allowed, but the other forum hasn't actually banned FF chatter, they've created a whole sub-forum for it. Good idea too, it was getting insane

The MZ-D isn't a rumour so they'll be fine discussing it too! But yes, they have a whole section just to discuss rumours!

On the main page the top forum is "Pentax News and Rumours" and that
is where you can't discuss rumours of a FF.... which is a bit strange
because if someone not familiar with the site (such as me) hears
a rumour of a FF and looks for it there they won't find it
That section is for discussing Rumours of a New Lens Cap
and things like that

Perhaps we need a 'Pie in the Sky' Section

Maybe if they've moved FF threads from the rumours section into the camera categories sections, they know something we don't and the mythical Pentax FF may soon be rumour no longer.

Well we aren't talking about FF rumours, we are talking about wishfull thinking.
Do we have a category for this?

Or why don't we just have a category for "FF".

Oooh, I am definitely going to put off buying any lens caps til I see what the new model has to offer!

I got sick of waiting so I've just bought a 52mm diam. Nikon one

I hope it was centre-pinch, they're getting some very good reviews

I think you have to ask yourself, I'm I a pro, enthusiastic amateur, or do I just need a lens cap that will remove easily when I'm taking pictures of the family and pets? I think it would make a lot of sense for Pentax to bring a new lens cap out, and personally I can't wait. I'm sure Photokina 2013 is going to be really interesting. Retro styling would be my choice and seems to be the fashion. However, given the price of new equipment upon first release and for the following 6-12 months or so, realistically I don't think I'll be able to afford a new lens cap until they bring out the next next design, if that makes sense. Still, I'm feeling itchy and may have to start putting my current lens caps on Ebay to start generating funds.
