Malo you find that info almost anywhere
Applies a correction to the default AF. The same correction can either be applied to all lenses or on a lens-by-lens basis to up to 20 lenses.
I Believe something is also be said in the youtube video about it, not sure though.

Don't know about the exposure problems, with a new processor and metering sensor I hope it will work better.

Thanks, still.....I won't upgrade if the exposure problem isn't solved.
It is BTW focussing screen related, and not a problem with metering sensor or processor.

Martin.
Best regards,

Martin.

I hope that Pentax have built the camera better than they have listed the stats. according to the official site it has image stabalisation in many languages
"Image Stabilization: English, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Finnish, Polish, Czech, Hungarian, Turkish, Greek, Russian, Korean, Traditional/Simplified Chinese, Japanese"

and the language support works at -10 to 40c!
"Language Support: Body dimensions (W x H x D): 5.1 x 3.8 x 2.9” Body weight, without battery or removable memory - 22.9 oz, Loaded and ready - 26.5 oz; Construction material(s): Magnesium alloy shell over stainless steel chassis; Operating temperature: 14-104°F (-10 to 40°C)"

I'd love to get one of these but having just bought a DA*60-250f4 I'll have to wait.

I promised the wife a new Hoover but she didn't seem impressed.

It seems dust removal is improved in the K7. Maybe you can sell it to her that way.
Best regards,

Martin.

Good point, maybe I could buy her a new pair of designer glasses and mention the improved autofocus at the same time.

How HDR works on the K-7

Excellent spec.

Faster FPS (5.2) - Check
New faster shutter - Check
77 point metering - check
better AF - check
Magnesium body - Check
better low light AF - Check (possibly)
3 inch screen - check
same excellent sensor without going for increased pixel count - check
same weathersealing - check
dramatically improved live view - Check
100% viewfinder - Check

shame its not 51 point AF nor does it have a screen cover, but I bet it will give the APS-C benchmark (the D300) a SERIOUS run for its money. Canon with the 50D? forget it!

I will wait until I know the price.

Looks like that Pentax might be onto a winner here. Takes an already excellent K20D and sorts out all the niggles we have with it in one fell swoop.

Can't wait until I get my hands on one in the shop to see.

So apparently the first USA retailer has it for preorder on their website at $1200 body only .. whats the betting on UK price?
£1100 my bet.
The US Price converts to about £862 with p&p. I was told on holiday that the K200D had made Pentax's "cool" with Canon users. I know that they are after video, so do you think they will be imprest with the K-7?
