There is no doubt, I would choose No 3. It has a good diagonal lead line through the woods and it has plenty of atmosphere.
If it was me, I would reduce the highlights on the very left edge and on the top of the picture.

Well Thanks to every one I picked no 3 and that has been entered, so I will find out in two weeks if it made it or not?? There’s only me who has taken a photo using a pentax camera I think that’s a bit sad, and two people said a WHAT camera ? After they got up from the floor I told them PENTAX? So I really need to win it just to put us on the map the cheeky sods so fingers crossed hey.

Well done, and it's good to know that we can pick a winner too.

A well deserved 1st place I think, but don't forget, that image would probably have won no matter what camera/lens combination you used (within reason). It's the photographer that sees and creates the image, the camera is just a tool for capturing it.
