Latest Cashback Offer

I appreciate that it is still early days but has anyone posted off their cashback claim form and had it verified online as having been received :? : I sent off my claim form on Saturday by Special Delivery and know that it arrived on Monday morning. Checking this evening the cashback website states that they are awaiting the arrival of my claim form. This cashback offer is clearly being handled by a third party on behalf of Pentax and the claim form has to be sent to what appears to be a set of serviced offices in Barking :!: Perhaps they only turn up one day a week to check their post :? :

I sent mine in on the 15th Dec 09 and still heard nothing, the web says " awaiting varification " still.

I do hope we are not going to have an update on this every 48 hours.

As a long time Pentax user you should be used to everything working just that little bit slower.

It is not the speed that annoys me but the fact that every piece of information (provided by whoever is running this cashback) on the progress of my cashback has been untrue.

What is the point of a system that states 4 weeks after an application has been received - "we await receipt of your application".

I am also concerned that I had to send of the original reciept which of course i might need for the 2 year warranty - i assume we get these back and if not will the warranty be honoured??

For cash back rebates here in the states especially for things like camera equipment or computers, they generally give you a second receipt so you have one for the rebate and one for any warranty questions later. I would be very concerned about handing over all proof of purchase no matter what. If anything, I would have made copies of the original paperwork before sending any originals in.

Mine has at last been confirmed, 9 weeks after submitting, promised 10 days till payment into account
