Yes I have (so have several other people in the earlier thread on this subject), and no the marks didn't show up.

Contacted Mifsuds about it and have asked for a replacement, for some reason they don't seem too impressed.

They want me to send it back to Pentax but I have insisted on a replacement .. now all of a sudden they have non in stock and so they will have to order one if its found to be faulty by their service department. And I think he said 3 times it will take a lot longer than returning it direct.
Now my K-7 .. that was a silly price !!!!!!!

My Serial is 3820*** As I said in the other thread I really can't see anything - but if you look tooo hard the imagination will see anything. For now I think I am lucky

Serial no. 3856 mine is clear, appart from the two sensor cleans I had too do, very dusty for a camera only 3 days old and used once.

Anyone not finding any problems would probably be safer recording some video (if you haven't already) just in case it's heat related.

Algi, I haven't used video at all so I can't see it being heat related.

Hmm. The problem isn't quite as bad as I expected, IF everyone really has answered correctly. Still, 50% hit rates are pretty damned high....
