Well it might not be all that long before I pop over to Watford to have a feel of Chris's goodies.

Apparently they are made of magnesium alloy and are virtually indestructible so they can probably handle a bit of abuse.

He was certainly looking pretty confident that he'd be able to meet people's demands last time I saw him.

All I can say is he certainly comes very highly recommended on all the relevant forums. I'm sure he will live up to his well deserved reputation.

I am so jealous of all you guys who are about to get their mits on their K3s. I have had a slight dip in my finances so my plans for acquisition of the K3 are in cold storage at the moment. Grrr

I'm with you there Mike. Even allowing for time to get to know the camera I won't need to make any decisions until early April. Of course if the reports show the AF is fast and accurate, and it has a good sized buffer and no sensor problems I could bring purchase forward.

Wonder if it's selling as well (or better) than the original K-5 when it was released.

As long as the QC (ie: no sensor stain type issues) is better then equivalent sales will mean much better profits. I'm sure Pentax have a winner here. The K5 won its plaudits but the K3 is headline news and the marketing behind it is more savvy. Go Pentax go.

Ain't that just typical. Got my dear old mum to order mine cos I'm moving house and we didn't have a delivery estimate. Now they're shipping and she's on a coach holiday somewhere in France.

Took a few quick shots in my lunch break at various ISOs. Will post them up soon (unprocessed).
