An active promotion (at least a halfway decent one) wouldn't show the ad then proceed to criticise the business in question.

If the guy was pimping Jessops or Fuji then it would have been obvious to anyone with any common sense that posting a screen shot of the Jessops advert with the Fuji camera's at 50% off, and then criticizing Jessops isn't exactly pimping.
Sorry, but I feel that the decision to remove the post was petty and unnecessary, and treating Polchraine, and the rest of the forum users like kids.
We're adults, treat us like adults please.

When I went to a Jessops store and asked them if they had any Pentax cameras, the answer was NO, and they wouldn't be stocking any either. 2 questions

As I understand it, when Jessops went (or nearly went) bankrupt a couple of years ago, Pentax - wisely - refused to extend them further credit. Nikon and Canon however did, as they could afford to take the hit (and probably did).
Jessops prefer "big" brands because it means the staff don't actually have to understand what they are selling, just shift boxes onto unsuspecting punters who see Canon/Nikon adverts everwhere...
Just consider them the McDonalds of photography...
