Me and them, but they are only there for the shopping.

Do they not want to see the hairy coos with long horns ? There's lots of them in Pollock and near the roads through the Country park too

If it's not in a shop they are not interested.

Maybe they're heading to a camera shop to buy you a present!

Eventually they get made into burgers and handbags and end up in shops.

If anyone needs a lift through from Edinburgh the offer still stands. I've had one cancellation but thought someone else still wanted a lift but cannot find any messages.
If anyone is expecting a lift (or would like one) please get back in touch.

I'll be coming.
I also have a question. I notice some others are bringing partners/family and my wife would quite like to come and join in with the photography but is afraid she won't be welcome because she's a Canon user! I said I didn't think it would be a problem but being a relative newbie I thought I'd better check in case there are 'rules' for such meet-ups?
It may turn out to be academic because she has a long term health problem which may prevent her from being able to go anyway - it will depend on whether she feels up to it on the day.

I don't think we have a rule and I don't mind. Hope she is well on the day.

Being a Pentax User is far more a state of mind than anything else! The day isn't a 'fan boy' meetup - it's far more about getting together to put faces to names.
And assuming she's a newbie she won't have a Big White yet!

She's had the Canon for 4 or 5 year but no, she does not have one of the big white lenses.

She will be more than welcome, Gareth is not shy about waving his Nikon around and other members have quite happily produced a variety of cameras in past meets.
