Stopped snowing here now, took me 45 mins to do the 12 miles to work this morning, normally takes about 15 mins.

That includes the 10 mins it took me to get the 100 metres to the main road!

The joys...

Mind you after all that... ain't snow brilliant?
Cheers

Freezing and deep snow here in the North East of England. Robin, you say it's -6 in your neck of the woods, but you don't say where that is.

Hit +40'C today just south of Perth. Off up to the Pilbara tomorrow as it's really warm up there.

The flies, the flies.

Looking forward to being back in the North East UK for Xmas/New Year.

Best regards

Had to clean off about 6" 0f snow from the car this morning and did the same yesterday. I dont know what the temp was last night but a plastic bottle of water froze inside the car so it must have been very cold.

Lordy lordy

came in 20 mins ago after getting a chunk of the 'garden' clear so I could get out of the gate on foot - 6ins of snow everywhere [ and I cleared it yesterday ]

I've just finished my coffee [ I needed the heat ] and am going to have to get geared up again and re-start .

It's snowing AGAIN This is wonderful -- NOT

Hopefully - that's it for the day .

Cleared some more - there's room to get the car out of the garage and out onto the road .

I've salted the cleared area

Now for a nice bacon roll - I'm doing no more snow clearance today - I ACHE

Had to go out taking pics for work in Dudley yesterday. It was brutally cold, my extremeties were freezing and I mean all of them. I am not stepping out of the house today! Browsing flights to the Canaries seems a good way to while away the time, although i'm just back from Tenerife

Less than £60 return? Hmmm what am I doing next weekend...
