Hi Chris I submitted a cashback claim for the purchase of a Km Dslr around the 18th Feb with bank transfer details.Today I contacted Pentax by telephone so someone is there. I asked how long it took and was advised on the Km about 6 weeks.Suggested if nothing received by 2 weeks time to contact again.Maybe yours will be received anytime now Suggest phone call may be better than email on this occasion.

I am still waiting for my cash backs, the point I am making is that my two emails to Pentax have been ignored. The only email I did get a reply to was chasing up the special offer from the Pentax Program supposed to be sent to me in the post when registering my equipment for the two years guarantee. I have been in customer service all my working life (40+ years) and if Pentax wishes to increase market share they have to do better than this.

I you call Pentax and ask to speak with David, they can confirm if they have received your correctly completed form and that a cheque or transfer will be raised by accounts. Although they cannot say exactly the date, but at least you know its on its way.

This is strange,as I got my cash backs on both my K20D, and my SMC DA 55-300mm very quickly!I purchased a K20 at the end of January (last day of cash back). I phoned Pentax this morning and spoke to a lady in customer service and at her suggestion I sent an email to Andrew Mellor. They have received my forms as I handed them in personally to the receptionist on the front desk at the beginning of February so they have had plenty of time to check to see if the form had been filled in correctly. One of my modelling knives came in handy making a neat job of cutting the bar codes from the boxes.
I will let you know Brian how I get on.

FWIW, I bought a K-m in the first half of February and the cashback arrived in my account in the past week, so six weeks sounds about right.

Still no Cash Back 6 weeks down the line so I rang Pentax customer service today 30th March who advised me that claims submitted to them up to the 13th Feb 2009 were handled by them after that date now being dealt with by an outside agency I was put through to them but will have to wait for either a phone call or email to advise if they are dealing with it.

Not sure whats going on at Pentax Why would they want to use an outside agency to deal with cashback as from 13th February When I checked yesterday they could not find me on the list and I did not send it recorded but they are going to deal with it after I forwarded the info by email to them so keeping my fingers crossed I will update when received

I finally registered my K20D with Pentax today and received an email stating that I'd receive "an individual special offer from the PENTAX programme" in a few days.
Does anyone know what this special offer is or indeed, if it's likely to arrive. I'm asking because I was planning to buy a lens today but if the special offer is some type of cashback/discount, I'll wait until it arrives.
