I'm still holding out for a barcode tattooed on my backside.

I guess if they chipped us too it would put paid to Mossads identity theft murderers anyway.

If I remember correctly. The first RFID identity cards were trialled in Denmark a couple of years ago. They were apparently impossible to clone, however, forged / cloned cards were discovered within a few weeks of their release.
There was an article on "The Register" about it.
