I'm surprised that you say they're not cheap. I have always found them to be within a few quid of the cheapest (non eBay) box shifter. I have every confidence in Chris and SRS - you can talk to them on the phone and they are really helpful.
I don't have quite the devotion to SRS that most members here have but would prefer to deal with them than save ten quid.

All of my digital gear came from SRS (apart from my K10D body because they were out of stock at the time).I'm surprised that you say they're not cheap. Would agree with everyone's comments, they have to be the best around for Pentax.
Been there several times myself, and buy almost all of my new kit there, the only occassions I don't it's because they don't sell it!
Service is second to none, I even got them to open up early on the morning we shot a wedding to exchange faulty equipment!
I cannot over emphasise how important it is to have a very good relationship with a thoroughly reliable supplier, you get very well looked after, problems dealt with swiftly and efficiently, and they have what I would call a 'proper' shop. All suppliers should be this good!

I am (seriously) physically attracted to SRS.
And I love them, deeply.
p.s. Would go there now if I didn't get ENGAGED on thursday and won't have money for petrol or food for the next 6 months.
p.p.s. Chris, I know you're reading this, how 'bout you come and visit me????

Before Chris visits anyone he needs to buy a coffee machine, apparently...
Best regards, John

But that is only becuase you are not self disciplined enough! It would be nice, even if he charged for it.
If you just went in there and said 'one of those please', paid, then left, you wouldn't need coffee!
So, yeah, i'd love a coffee machine in there.......
PS, know how you feel Nathan! We're getting married in February, so the only way to fund my LBA is to start selling off those lenses I don't use so often! Congrats on the engagement!

I bought a refurbished K110D from SRS, and you wouldn't believe the effort they put into getting it across the Atlantic to Montreal.
Their patience and understanding is first class, and I will continue to buy from them every chance I get.
Nathan!
WAY TO GO, BOY!!!!

6 months: Is that what she told you? And, more seriously, is that what you believed her?p.s. Would go there now if I didn't get ENGAGED on thursday and won't have money for petrol or food for the next 6 months.
Man, love does make blind.
No, seriously, congratulations. SRS or getting engaged, sound like a no brainer to me.

Congrats!
As a Wedding Photographer, here's a little "Heads up"...
If you're lucky (and smart) your only job on the big day, is to show up...on time, able to stand, and not flub your lines... "I DO!"
never mind the fact that her line"... Honor and obey..." has been dropped/swapped for your line: "you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and WILL be used against you..."

Just bought a re-furbished K20D from SRS. Amazing price, arrived the next day and is indistinguishable from new!
Amazingly friendly, fast and courteous. Probably the best UK dealer.

I can only reiterate what everyone else has said about SRS, they are spot on.
I bought an FA50 from them and it arrived the next day!
Any further purchases I make will be from SRS.
