That isn't beer, it is a beer flavoured spirit! It'll be taxed as a spirit too. Then there's the healthy Canadian option, a "red" -- lager and tomato juice. Or that other Canuck favourite, lager with a touch of salt. Mmmm.

as in seafood and fruitjuice..
just freakin creepy if you ask me...
I can see getting your weeks worth of veggies in a Caesar with vodka and tomato juice...
hell I consider a rabbit a full serving of vegitables, cause that is what rabbits are made from...(they are what they eat)
even potato chips count as health food.. potatoes? veggies....fried in vegitable oil...that makes them 100% vegetables, gotta be good for you...
Heck I won't argue with referring to a beer as a full serving of barley soup.....

As a fine strong ale, I prefer Adnams Broadside, it tastes great, and now that I reside in North Essex, it is easy to get, in bottles, and more importantly, on draught, and it is 6.3%.

Broadside is lovely, and my local seems very good at keeping it.
I tried "Crabbie's Original Alcoholic Ginger Beer" this evening and ir was surprisingly tasty.
Off to the land of "Bud Light" on Wednesday. Looking forward to the trip but not to the beer!

8 pages of beer talk and counting. I haven't seen this much excitement over the Pentax gear we are all supposed to be banging on about. Still, my favourite tipple from my European travelling days was the Leffe Blond, from Belgium.

Yes I like "Old Speckled Hen"
Although it does not taste like the original brew from Morland's Abingdon brewery.
We were lucky enough to get on one of the last brewery tours, before Morland was taken over by Green King, and the water used to produce Old Speckled Hen now comes from Suffolk, and it is now brewed in their Bury St Edmunds brewery.
Still not a bad pint but obviuously not as good as the original Morland brew!
