My car just refused to start. Again .
It wouldn't start yesterday when husband was out with the dogs. I went and collected the dogs while he waited for the ANWB (Dutch AA). They got it going again, but it won't start again now.
Luckily I have my husband's car until Wednesday night, so I shall have to see if my garage can have a look at my car in the meantime.
The Prius is not ideal for two dogs, especially when one of them is a great oaf.
I need my car Friday to take the dogs to the kennels, and can't risk getting stuck there.

Our roof has a hole (or rather, several) too - any time the rain comes from a certain direction, out come the buckets and towels...

Oh I know that feeling! Our roof has a hole (or rather, several) too - any time the rain comes from a certain direction, out come the buckets and towels...
We have a big flat roofed extension and where it meets the main house it leaks whenever the wind is in a certain direction. It has been re-roofed several times in an attempt to stop it, but it still leaks.

Gwyn,
And that is one of the main spots that leaks in ours also! The other is near an old brick chimney.

Gwyn... I love Denver and Colorado generally. The botanic garden in Denver is stunning, the Tattered Cover bookshop wonderful and a superb museum. We found some nice curry houses and even a good sushi place. They all go to bed at 9pm though.
We will be going down to Manitou Springs and then driving down to the Four Corners area this time.

My Bandit only lasted about 5 years (born 1997, fell-apart 2002) although to be fair, it did do several trans-european journeys in the snow [*] which wasn't exactly the conditions (or use) it was designed for...My roof doesn't leak but I have an oil leak to go with my holed exhaust.
