It's a shame all the 'contaminated' burgers were taken off the shelves, presumably to landfill. I'm sure there are a lot of hungry people who would have appreciate them, horse or not.
Absolutely agree.

How about all of the misshapen veg that are not accepted for human consumption too by supermarkets. Such a shame the supermarket managers didn`t get out their John Bull printing outfits and produce labels "Beef burgers also containing equine parts." would have been loads better than sending off for pet food. A few years ago the Co-op had an experience with beef burgers containing Kangaroo meat. I guess there are unscrupulous providers to the manufacturers.

Anyone ever see a farmer on a bike? or a supermarket shareholder twiddling the pedals. I don`t think so, all they do is whack up the prices.

Hurmph. I am typing this left handed.
I fell over in our garage today and damaged my right arm. After seeing my own doctor then going for x-rays nothing is broken, but the elbow is really painful. So it is wrapped in tubigrip and elastic bandage and hanging painfully in a sling. If it's not better after Monday then I have to go back again.

Not a happy duck.

I saw a snowflake today!

Just the one. I gather it might be snowing elsewhere though?

Look after your wing Gwyn. You might want to fly south for the summer.

Oops Gwyn, sympathies from a Yorkshireman Hope you are healing quickly, elbows do seem to take a while to heal though. Maybe a drop of anything will help take your mind off it.

Am I mistaken, or do you seem a bit accident prone just lately, Gwyn.
