It's fruits which give me problems. I like bananas, grapes, oranges, dates and lots of others.
But if I so much as taste some fruits, such as cranberries, pineapple, gooseberries and apricots then I'm violently sick.
Don't know what it is...?

Aaaah, a well earned G&T
Spent the day on cleaning and watching grandchildren. Now they've gone, the house is as clean as it's going to be with a great big hairy dog walking mud into it twice a day, and the shops are, for the most part, shut.
So If I've forgotten something I've forgotten it.
Quiet day tomorrow, just me and him. The whole shebang on Boxing day including pressies, turkey, but no sprouts. No surprises under the tree for me, I know I'm getting slippers .
I guess it's the thought that counts.
That G&T must be working it's wonders upon me .
Merry Christmas one and all.

For those who can't sleep tonight (too excited waiting for S.C. or waiting for the little ones to go to sleep so that you can play at being S.C.) here's a link that you can experiment with :-

change it accordingly with whatever date you want.

Just about ready now, glass filled with a GOOD measure of Famous Grouse, about the same of Green Ginger Wine and topped up with lemonade, just the sort of thing for these really cold winter nights....OK so it's 7° outside but who's bothered
Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas.

Dumped the bike for the first time tonight. Riding carefully through the rain with no real issues. Stopped at a roundabout, put my left foot down and found I had no grip!
Managed to stay on my feet but the bike went over. Fortunately very slowly - more laid down than dropped.
So I'm pleased to report I survived to tell the tale!

Bike and I both survived without a scratch. Was a bit worried that the ABS light was flashing but turning the ignition on and off sorted that.
Only thing I had to do was stop to fix the mirror which had come loose.
I think my pride was hurt more than anything!

Just had a glass of my missus' Dads homebrew that's been on the go since Feb... Apparently started as: 3-litres vodka, 3-litres brandy 3-pounds sugar and 3-pounds raspberry... It's interesting stuff... And it works...
Now for a pale ale before sorting the boy's stocking (he just went to bed) bringing the pressies in and passing out!!

Gareth, glad you and bike are OK. It`s a real pain when it happens. Did it at the pump one day. Stopped but left foot slipped between gear change and foot-peg. No time for recovery so it was hang onto pump for dear life and wrench foot out before bike slid ungraciously onto forecourt.
Enjoy life

As far as my taste buds are concerned Sauerkraut is never a good thing
anyone watch Morecombe and Wise earlier? I haven't laughed so much for a long time.
