Another pointless thread

I was shown a neat trick with our Bosch Dishwasher when it stopped working, empty it, place towels down and tip it up, apparently this helps clear out a valve of sorts then when back upright hold down the last three buttons (may have been the first three) then whilst holding the buttons down turn it on then after around ten seconds there was a noticebale click - the ecu resetting I am told - then it works as it should and has done for 12 months without any problems

I'm having trouble posting! The messages seem to
go through the toaster OK! but get clogged up in the
electric kettle? ..... possibly it's not got the correct
password for the microwave which doubles up as a router

BT as usual don't want to know.... said something about
me being on Virgin Cable.... but we only got that to hang
the washing on!

I see where your going wrong Algi, toasting the message first then passing it through the kettle only makes it very soggy, and it's the steam from the microwave as it starts to dry out that causes the problem.

Put the message straight up the vacuum cleaner and see if that works any better.

off to try that now although my problem is that the bottom arm isn't turning. It spins easily by hand and isn't blocked, can't figure it.

Ken I had this problem with a dishwasher once , The bottom arm was mounted on the bottom rack and was meant to connect in to a socket that supplied water at the back of the machine when the drawer was in the "in" position , some how this plastic thing had become misaligned so the arm was not getting any water.
A bit of wiggling, on me knees with a head torch and it was sorted .... jeff...

Threatening to dump it on the ground from a great height.
Cat was on a branch which could barely take it's weight and was a long way up.

My dog chased the cat this morning, and it went in the tree, but low down. I thought once the dog was gone it would come down, and after walking dog had a quick look and couldn't see the cat.
Then later on someone rang the bell to say the cat was stuck at the top of the tree. The tree is actually in my neighbour's garden. It was in a very precarious position.

Thanks but it isn't that. Water comes out the arm quite forcefully but it always stops in the same position but spins freely when lightly pushed - weird. Off to search for 'Bosch Dishwasher User'

I guess you have tried the 'hit it and swear a lot option'

Short of the arm having come loose from it's mount or something restricting it's movement (part of the basket etc) I am not sure what you could try/ look for

So what you are telling us is your bully of a dog frightened a poor liddle puddy tat and you're calling the cat stupid.

I think if a vicious dog was chasing me then I might run up a tree!
