With temperatures like that I could put away my long sleeved shirts. Of course winter in Lowestoft was always more pleasant with Eastely winds, blowing directly from the Russian Steppes

TT that`s about the only pleasant thing about Lowestoft. Apart from the A12 leading out of it.

That's miserable of them . Hopefully it will arrive tomorrow.
I'm enjoying my birthday cheese, sausage and wine. Delicious.
Did anyone see the Richard Wilson prog on BBC4 just now, meeting the Goths of Whitby amongst other things?
He almost made me want to get the next ferry to Hull.

I hope so, I want to take at the weekend. Memory cards and batteries are ready and waiting. Will pack at least the K5 and a handful of lenses. Might stop off at Richmond Park on the way home. Hope you enjoy your cheese and sausage Gwyn-

That's the sort of temperature to go to the beach.
I remember a few years back when I was living in South Lanarkshire. It was dropping to -20°C at night. And the electricity was out for up to 10 hours a day for almost a week which meant the heating pump wasn't working.
Had to have the stove on full and leave the hot tap running to stop the water boiling over!

Still no delivery of the X5. Had an online session with Amazon and the delivery folk have it from the Amazon hub. At least they have returned the delivery charges but I want the camera. Grrrrrr! where`s the bottle?

E mail from Amazon, they can`t contact the delivery company either so can`t promise a delivery tomorrow even though it`s 3 days late!!!What a pain. I feel well hacked off, almost feel like closing my account especially now I have found that HDNL is part of Yodel which is part of DHL. Drop it, Hide it, Lose it. Found the bottle, nice warm feeling beginning to develop now.

I one had a parcel which took two months to arrive when it was guaranteed overnight. For some reason it got shipped to Germany and back!
