I didn't realize that it was now only 5.6%

Seems to be 4 x 500ml for £5 at ASDA which is unusual
they are usually quite dear for beers

Didn't we get saliva in the 4 x 500 ml on Saturday?
Lurking is shirking.!

That's the good thing about beer you can
get saliva from 4 x 500ml everyday rather than
every 4 years

I wonder how many complaints the BBC have had about their
athletics interviewer (Phil?) manhandling every Gold Medal
winner he interviews

Edit: More about it here:

At the rate world records are being broken, how many games before the runner, cyclist etc., lap themselves

Blimey I thought it was only the Daily Mail that knocked the BBC so much!

At least we saw things live, unlike the good ole US of A, who didn't even see the worlds fastest man in real time. Look into the future of commercial TV, pay per view, and time delay to maximise profit.
Lurking is shirking.!

I followed the link and it is to the Daily Mail!!!!

Perhaps looking at the comments even the Daily Mail doesn't quite get the mood of it's readership right all the time.

I've been happy with the coverage so far.

I love the Daily Mail. It's the thinking man's chip shop wrapper.

So I notice Chris Hoy is advertising razor blades.

I wonder why they haven't asked Andy to do it?

Not often I agree with the Daily Mail but I agree - he manhandles them all, and the interviews are appalling. Instead of fantastic you got silver/bronze finished 15th it is always aren't you disappointed with silver/bronze/15th. The whole pressure and expectation on the British athletes is huge and the BBC doesn't help.
There have been heartbreaking scenes of people who won silver or bronze who are devastated and feel the need to apologise to the nation for only winning a "lesser" medal.

That said I am rather sick of the Oscar acceptance speeches from the winners too.

When they are grabbed by the guy with the hands, or whoever they always feel the need to thank their parents, aunties, uncles, trainers, school teachers, friends, grandparents, pet dog, Bill Brewer, Jan Stewer, Peter Gurney, Peter Davy, Dan'l Whiddon, Harry Hawke, Old Uncle Tom Cobley and all.

I'm definitely watching the right channels then as I haven't seen any of that. Not seen much GB either as I like the weight lifting and gymnastics and GB's turn wasn't broadcast much.

I'm stuck with BBC 1 and 3, plus of course a Dutch channel (brilliant cycling coverage, and good equestrian coverage too) Belgian and German channels and Eurosport.

I refuse to pay extra for all the other sport channels. It's hard enough to get his nibs to do anything when there is sport on without encouraging him even more with extra channels!
