Good you're in one piece Stan.
I hope you told them where they could stick their Olympus!
So, I take it you will be refilling your stomach quickly.

Thank you for the good wishes. When I mentioned what I thought of the camera I was told "Well, at least it's not a Box Brownie"
Started refueling on the way back from the hospital, two chocolate biscuits. Now waiting patiently for Mrs Snap to prepare a large Lunch

No Stan, the SRS site is slow.
I often have time to open and pour a beer waiting for it to load.
Maybe we should ask for a Pentax specific site from them that loads as fast as the K5s leave the shelves...
I still recon there one of the best out there though.

I don't find it all that slow.
I've been browsing, and getting tempted. I'll be over in August and only just down the road from Watford...
A pity the Euro is so low at the moment. I think I shall be forced to give Chris a miss .

Sunshine here. Not as hot as yesterday, but quite pleasant.
Schools break up today and son is of camping tomorrow so the weather is going downhill next week .
He has two weeks then is off to London for the Olympics for three weeks (when good weather is predicted :evil, and then has the last week of the school hols off too.
Those that broke up last week (the south of the country) have had better weather, though there have been some huge storms and downpours in some parts of the country.
The jet-stream has been too far south and in the wrong shape the last three summers. I fear this is the new norm .

Hey Stan
Good to know all is ok
I have been there and done it - you are not that worried whilst they test but damn relieved once it is ok
Anyone know if when you cash the tesco/jessops vouchers you need the corresponding clubcard whilst in Jessops:
I may be off to Lpool to get a k5 tommorrow
Cheers
