Incidentally, by my calculations this thread has been running for 794 days and we will reach page 800 today. Which means page 1,000 should be reached in time for Christmas.

Coming home yesterday I got to a set of light near home, the type with traffic sensors which work out if anyone is queuing. The car driver two in front was happily talking to a passer buy who was leaning half way inside the car.
She didn't notice that the lights had changed so I tooted my horn - by the time she moved the lights had gone back to red!
It's a long wait at these lights, but they eventually changed to green and she was still talking to the guy and still blocking the road at the lights!!!!
The driver in front of me finally decided to overtake, as did I. I gave a slightly longer toot of my horn, said something to the effect of "that's a little inconsiderate and you may wish to consider thinking about other people a little more" (but not quite as politely).
Sometimes you really do feel like ramming some people off the road.
(Rant over)

BUT
I've just achieved something - managed to renew the AV on the PC Laptop . That Lappy is a thing of horror to me - it's just here for visitors so gets very little use and is kept clean and tidy by a friend, using LogMeIn, for me. He said I would be able to manage the renewal - and I DID
