If the working classes had never been allowed driving licenses there would be a lot more of them.

Oooooooooooooooh, come on Ken, there but for fortune go you or I.

If great great great grandaddy had been the 1st son instead of the last I might, just might, have finished up living in a huge house in the middle of a vast estate, providing of course that great grandad hadn't drank his money away.

As it is I live in a small house in the middle of a small estate

Bernard

A friend restored a medieval castle from two walls and a pile of stones

He would tell people it was in the middle of a large estate.

It was - a housing estate!

I made a film about it which was on the bbc the other week

I've just discovered they let anyone on a bus. No references or anything!

Still, I'm sure I'll be fine in First Class. I assume you get free coffee?

We caught a bus in Portland Oregon. Packed with wierdos (so we fit right in:wink as US buses so often are. It stopped by a McDs - a scheduled stop. Weirdo gets off, goes in McD's and comes back out with a bunch of coffees. Bus driver and the regular weirdos got to enjoy a cup of coffee before setting off again.

I asked in The Booking Hall of a Glasgow Underground station if there was a first class carriage and a dining car on the train. The ticket seller didn't think it funny.

I've had a look and there isn't but it's probably because it was made before the iplayer was invented for another broadcaster and the BBC dont have the rights, which is a shame because I get royalties! Anyway it was made in Gaelic so you might not have a clue what was being said.

Originally it was commissioned by Scottish Television and we made an English language version too which was on their website but I notice that some cretin has re-edited several programmes into one 5 minute thing which is pointless, the pictures are no longer cut to the specially commissioned music, there are random pointless shots from the opening titles sprinkled liberally through it and the narrative is now pointless!

They haven't even set up aspect ratios correctly so there is vignetting and even a light in shot that was never ever there before.

The castle I referred to earlier is the first one in this clip, you'll get an idea of what I do when I dont have a Pentax in my hand link

Next time, if there is one I will shoot on a K5 or a K-01

On the same site there is a series of mine called 'Spirit of Adventure' if you like malt whisky and/or motorcycles

There probably is but it's reserved for the union bosses. Or an unlucky Olympic National team who didn't check their map.

I heard that a lot of the women's Olympic football is in Glasgow and ticket sales are err... slow.
