Another pointless thread

Talking of food, the American wife of a friend of mine apparently cooks a mean "breakfast burrito". Here's the recipe. I'll be trying it out tomorrow and will be happy to pass on any feedback from others. Lest this be considered inappropriate, even in the Pointless thread, I'll be taking a picture of the finished product with a Samsung DSLR with a Pentax lens.

In a skillet, chop up red, green, yelllow bell peppers, onion, and bacon (or sausage, but bacon is better).
In a bowl, crack two eggs and add a little milk to make the eggs fluffy. (Use a fork to whisk).
When mix veg and bacon is cooked enough for you (either al dente or soft); add the eggs.
When eggs are just about all cooked and scrambled, add chopped tomatoes and shredded cheddar cheese. (Cheddar and Pepper-jack are best, but not essential for both).
I usually add black pepper, salt, cayenne, and chili powder with a touch of Tabasco hot sauce to give it that Mexican flavor.
Then get your flour tortilla, add the deliciousness and wrap it up like a burrito!
Hint: do not chop up too many veg because even with two scrambled eggs and all the ingredients, it will be a very filling meal.
Here is another egg meal you can make with most of the same ingredients:
Instead of bacon, add chorizo; instead of a flour tortilla; replace with bread for a mean egg sandwich.

Give me bacon and egg anyday (well a couple of times a week)
Preferably bacon cured using the traditional Wiltshire method
from Case & Sons. Available from Sainsbury's about £3 for 240grm

I find it better fried than grilled

Ah, nothing better than a plate of fish and brewis, sprinkled with a little sugar and covered with scruntchions. Accompanied with a warm touton and coffee, or if you're a true Newfie a strong cup of tea.
By the way, a bottle of Spitfire or Bombardier is nearly $5.00 at my local supplier. Think I'll wait for a price drop before trying.
Cheers

I gladly welcome C & C's. Being foggy minded they really help me learn.

You have fish and brewis for breakfast? I thought it was served as the main meal? My husband enjoyed it when he visited NL from NL a few years ago.
Warm toutons sound good, if not very healthy. Can I have mine with maple syrup instead of molasses though please?

At that price I'd just go for the Bombardier which is excellent. By the way, a bottle of Spitfire or Bombardier is nearly $5.00 at my local supplier. Think I'll wait for a price drop before trying.

Just downloaded The Phantom, for my latest (final?) dose of Harry Hole.
And another Indridason as well.
To counteract all that Nordic Noir I also bought a couple of Alexander McCall Smith books.
That lot should keep me quiet for a day or two .

Brilliant book Gwyn - I couldn`t put it down as usual.
Also try Headhunters by Nesbo - a cracking thriller and well worth reading.

Just watched the Grand Prix.
I'd rather it hadn't taken place but I enjoyed the race anyway.

It's a while since we had a pointless, rambling topic. One where people could say anything, as long as it's not too serious!
The last one went on for 7 pages, so here it is.
I've just stacked 2 tons of wood in our wood shed.
We need to be specific!...not really...
Nice to see some 'rambling' amusement.
Roll on the next 225 pages........................
