You'd be wanting a proper Irvin flying jacket then, not one of those nasty American ones, for which you'd have to be drinking weak American beers!

For just about anything you can possibly think of, someone, or something, holds a world record! Be it from the most cornflakes eaten whilst reading a morning paper on a tuesday between 7am and noon, or the most times a bald person has been to church when it is raining - the list must be endless?
Just occured to me for no reason.
Spike Milligan published a book about records and in the back was a place to enter your own, mine was "the first person to eat a portion of chocolate orange at a certain latitude and longitude" unfortunately lost this book, and probably not the first or only.

That wouldn't be any good..... The fur would get wet from beer being spilt down it ...... especially when I go on Tanglefoot or have a Waggledance!

Is that the same as Newcastle Brown Ale ? In the pubs I frequented as a young lad it was called Journey into Space or Lunatics Soup well named at that price
Yes, sorry I worked at Vickers on Scotswood road and it was always referred to as "dog" because of the number of times walking the dog was used as an excuse to visit the pub.Is that the same as Newcastle Brown Ale ? Your names fit just as well. Going into work at 7.30 one morning there was an ambulance at the gates. They were trying to persuade a guy he needed to go to hospital but he had a sweeping brush across the doors of the ambulance, bracing himself against it to stop them pushing him in.
Turned out he had been out for a session on the dog, woken up thru the night, thought he was late for work as a labourer in a machine shop and turned up in his slippers.
As it turned out his shop was not working night shift so there was no one there to stop him having his slippered feet badly cut by the steel swarf from the machines
