Brains beer for me

Do you need to celebrate to have a beer HG

Here's hoping that Liverpool do beat the Gunners whilst our Irish friends also get a result

I hope to get the camera out sometime over the weekend - I have a job this weekend sorting out a computer then I need to avoid a potential platering job (it would be rushed and I don't do rushed) all whilst trying to fit in a lie in for Sunday

Enjoy your Minervois Tony

I am angry. Seriousy angry.
We read a message today on Facebook from my youngest son.
He is one of the leaders of our local water scouts. He has been a member since he was a teenager. They have recently rebuilt their clubhouse. Did all the work themselves, raised all the money themselves. Someone broke in and stole a new industrial gas cooker they had saved hard to buy for it, plus lots of tools.
The neighbours are keen enough to complain about them - but did the see anyone walk of with a 6 ring gas cooker? of course not.

Then to really ruin their week vandals have sunk their 50 year old tug. It is moored at their harbour in another town near here. €75,000 of damage, minimum, and almost certainly not covered by their insurance. No tug, no sailing, as it not only tows the boats it acts as life boat and rescue boat for them too.

Meanwhile the sun is still shining here and we are off out.

Nice BMW - I like the way the rear drum brake is styled into the alloy wheel

So far today I have been given a set of mountain bikes - a little repair required but not much - I have sorted the girlfriends father's computer and with a little tweak his phone works again - the potential plastering job never happened - our dishwasher and washing machine are both now working again without any cost and.......

I seem to have got my Vivitar series 1 28 to 105 into a reasonable working order

Not all my own doing - it was 'with a little help from my friends'

Good day so far

I didn't win the lottery though - although that would have been a little greedy to expect it

Beer time now

The magic word, I had mine making our evening meal.

I've been playing nurse for my better half, she's not been well and spent all day between the bathroom and bed. This evening she's managed to eat and keep down some cottage pie.

Fingers crossed...

Very nice. I had a R80/7, but sold it in the mid 1980,s, regretted ever since.
That was my last bike.

Take care.

Our friends took us to Blanchland today, for a ride out. I've never see so many Grouse at one time. I would say that you need something longer than the 35mm lens I had, even though they are quite a large bird.
I find a double-barrel works OK.
